ARROS Place Research Report
The publication, "Finding out about the ARROS PLACE Program: Supporting Young People with Cognitive Disability and Experiences of Child Protection and/or Youth Justice Involvement," explores the two-year ARROS PLACE initiative. This program, delivered by the Community Living Association, supports young people aged 15-25 with cognitive disabilities who are homeless or at risk, and have experiences in child protection or youth justice systems. The study highlights the program’s trauma-informed, relationship-based practices, which focus on advocacy, skill development, and peer-led activities to bridge gaps in support during transitions to adulthood. It includes key findings, recommendations, and a deep dive into the complex needs of participants and practitioners' approaches.
