Village Housing is an initiative of CLA that provides long-term housing to Community Living Program (CLP) constituents and other eligible community members.

Village housing:

  • Houses both people with an intellectual disability and without an intellectual/learning disability in equal numbers.
  • Values all its members; with particular emphasis on valuing people with intellectual disabilities because of the likelihood they will experience social exclusion.
  • Expects that members will be supportive of each other.
  • Expects that members will be actively involved in working for the success of Village Housing.
  • Strives to acknowledge and enhance the contribution of all its members.
  • Seeks to be involved in creating an inclusive community within a geographic area.
  • Seeks to enhance supportive relationship between members and the wider community

    Village Housing acquires new property

    Village Housing has recently acquired a new three bedrooms, two bathrooms unit. In line with Village Housing mixed tenancy policy, it will house a person with a disability and a person without a disability. Thanks go to investors in Village Housing Investment Scheme who helped make this new purchase possible.

Supporting Village Housing

There are a number of ways in which you can support village housing financially by making a donation or a bequest in your will.

Our Pay Pal 'Donate' facility allows you to make a secure donation by credit card with an invoice automatically emailed to you.
